Lynn Jefferis plans to encourage her ten year old granddaughter, Olivia to take her innovative Mini First Aid Adventurer course, should she wish to go globetrotting when she is older. The 6-hour course focuses on key skills for adventure travel and includes emergency first aid medicine, as well as survival and rescue techniques.

Lynn says:

“I’m very excited about running our Adventurer First Aid course. Children no longer have the freedoms we had when we were young when we played outside from dawn until dusk. And yet we didn’t have the opportunity for foreign travel.

Adventurer First Aid is a brilliant and comprehensive course empowering young people before they go off on their overseas adventures. Should Olivia wish to go in the future, I would certainly feel a lot more confident about her travelling once she had completed the course.”

Adventurer First Aid provides training for extreme injuries in extreme situations. The course covers emergency First Aid medicine, and survival and rescue techniques as well as the importance of researching destinations, being aware of cultural and religious differences and packing the correct equipment.
